Book: The Pictorial Key to the Tarot by A. E. Waite. This book is a high quality reproduction of the original book first published in 1911 by William Rider & Son Limited, in London. It includes 78 plates illustrating the greater and lesser Arcana as illustrated by Pamela Coleman Smith.
Waite was considered a respected scholar of the Kabbalah and an initiate of secret occult traditions. The contents of his book feature a personal preface, an introduction, explanations of the Major and Minor Arcana, including the Court Cards and information on the Tarot in history. There is also a section on the secret tradition and inner symbolism. Part 3 features extensive explanations of various traditions of reading the cards, which you can apply to your own readings.
